Eden is blessed to have a strong enrollment of talented new students every year, many of whom come from modest economic situations. Eden is highly sensitive to students' long-term financial burden from student loans, especially because many of the ministry positions our graduates are seeking offer relatively low wages. Scholarship gifts to support these students have never been more urgently needed than they are now.
Each year more than 90% of Eden full time students receive some form of scholarship support.
Invest in the preparation of the next generation of pastors and teachers by helping fund a seminary student scholarship at Eden this year.
Donations of any size may be made to Eden's Cloud of Witness annual scholarship fund that provides general support to any enrolled student. You may also designate your gift to the support of international students or to students from a specific denomination, including:
• United Church of Christ
• Christian Church (Disciples of Christ)
• United Methodist Church
• Presbyterian Church (PCUSA)
You may make your gift online or contact the Office of Institutional Advancement for more information about other ways to make a donation.
Permanently Endowed Scholarships
More substantial donations made be used to establish a named, endowed scholarship at Eden. Endowed scholarship donors are able to establish specific academic, geographic, denominational, and other requirements for the distribution of scholarship funds. These scholarships are held in perpetuity by the seminary and proceeds from the invested funds are used to support the purposes outlined in the scholarship agreement.
