Eden’s faculty is a gifted, diverse and engaged community of scholars and teachers, each of whom truly loves the church.

In addition to teaching in the classroom, Eden’s faculty members serve the church through:

• Church and community service.

Eden’s faculty members are all active in their professional guilds. Their scholarship appears in an array of academic, ecclesial and popular publications. Their expertise and perspectives on issues and events are frequently sought out by the local and national news media.

Faculty members at Eden take their work very seriously, but students are often delighted to find that their professors do not take themselves too seriously! Faculty members participate with students and staff in all aspects of Eden’s life from worship, to lunch, to softball. The Eden faculty is an integral part of the Eden experience.

The Eden faculty is ecumenically and theologically diverse. There is no “party line” at Eden. In the midst of this diversity the faculty works hard as a collegium to live out the saying: “In essentials unity, in non-essentials liberty, in all things charity!”
