Thanks to a generous gift from George H. and Carol B. Walker, the Walker Leadership Institute at Eden Theological Seminary, in partnership with Webster University’s George Herbert Walker School of Business & Technology, trains religious, community, and business leaders on issues related to corporate and fiscal responsibility, community engagement, and religious and theological literacy in the workplace.
The Walker Leadership Institute bridges faith, community, and business by equipping leaders from various vocational backgrounds with vital and practical tools to contribute to the common good and respond to their community's most pressing challenges.
1. Through a master of community leadership (launching in Fall 2017), the Institute prepares religiously, theologically, and ethically literate business and community leaders who will contribute to the common good, both in the public and private sector.
2. Through continuing education, workshops, and seminars, the Institute brings together religious leaders to imagine, collaborate, and envision sustainable business models that mutually strengthen and benefit local congregations and communities.
