Curriculum Vitae

Rev. Kevin D. Anthony currently serves as Bridge Pastor at Pilgrim Congregational United Church of Christ in St. Louis, Missouri. Prior to serving at Pilgrim UCC, Rev. Anthony, served as Executive Minister at St. John’s Church (The Beloved Community) in St. Louis, Missouri. Rev. A (as he is affectionately referred to) is a graduate of Southern University A&M College in Baton Rouge, Louisiana where he obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management. He is a graduate of Eden Theological Seminary in Webster Groves, Missouri where he received a Master of Divinity. He currently serves on the Eden Board of Trustees. While attending Eden, he co-founded and served as the first president of the Eden Black Alumni Association, that later created the Dr. Enoch H. Oglesby Scholarship with a focus to financially assist African, African American, and Latina students. He is a 2009 Fellow of the Chautauqua Institute of New Clergy. He currently serves as Treasurer/Board Member of St. Louis Black Authors of Children Literature. He is a clergy advisor for Faith Communities United an HIV/AIDS faith based organization. Rev. Anthony also serves as a co-hort facilitator for WomanPreach! Inc. He is a council member of the Ecumenical Leadership Council of Missouri-St. Louis Chapter. Rev. A, in his spare time likes to exercise, read books, articles, and eat ice cream. Rev. A is married to Lillian E. Anthony, and father to Rukiya Anthony (daughter) and Keondre’ Anthony (son).
