Classes and Community Continue
Students and faculty are fully engaged in classes in their physical distancing and socially engaging format.
Spring Semester 2020 at Eden Seminary will conclude remotely. There will be no further face to face classes this term.
Students in contextual education are working with contextual education sites and supervisors to determine how individual communities are responding. respond. This process will be part of PCL seminar discussions.
Summer term classes will be offered remotely.
E-Community for current students, faculty and staff is happening. Lunch & Munch E-Community is a safe space to catch up with classmates and community each Tuesday and Thursday at noon. “Chapel Chats” convene each Wednesday at 12:30 pm to reflect on the morning’s chapel experience. Community empowerment Facebook discussions are in process. Friday community movie nights are a hit.
The Graduation ceremony, scheduled for May 15, 2020 will not take place. The faculty and staff are working on alternative ways to celebrate the tremendous accomplishments of the class of 2020.
Spring Convocation of April 14-15 has been canceled in person. Spring Convocation Re-Imagined is now reality. Alumni, check your email inboxes for Virtual Alumni Reunion times on April 17th & 18th.
