Dr. Garam Han serves as an adjunct faculty at Eden Theological Seminary, where she teaches Educational Ministry. She’s also currently an adjunct for the Sexual Boundaries and Ethics course at Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary.

Dr. Han obtained her Ph.D. in Religious Education and Practical Theology from Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary. She earned her Master of Divinity (M.Div.), Master of Arts (MA), and Th.M. in Christian Education from Columbia Theological Seminary. In addition to her teaching responsibilities, she is currently a chaplain resident at UCSF Health in San Francisco and is in the process of ordination within the Presbyterian Church (USA).

Her academic interests include eco-pedagogy, eco-spirituality, interfaith and interreligious learning, postcolonial and decolonial studies with a particular focus on Korean indigenous perspectives, immigrant women’s practices, and Asian and Asian American feminist studies. Beyond her interdisciplinary work, Dr. Han is dedicated to creating a sacred space for all learners to re/un-learn themselves, others, and the world, fostering an enjoyable learning space that promotes collective growth (“becoming”).

During her free time, she loves walking, taking photos, gardening, boxing, and watching Korean shows. These activities bring her joy and help her unwind.
