Course Description:
Ideas to energize and broaden prayer life. Advent is a good time to reflect on our personal, home and church prayers. Come with an open mind and we will think outside the box to open ourselves to the One Who is inviting us into deepening relationship. What are we waiting for?

About the Instructor:
Dr. Devoree Crist is one of the Spiritual Directors at Eden and an adjunct professor. Her ministry includes individual and group spiritual direction and retreats. She is a retired physician and a graduate of Eden (2001) and Aquinas (2006). Webster Groves Christian Church is her church home where she currently serves on the Board, in liturgy, music and sacred space decoration. She is the author of Spirit Prayers: Invitations to Worship for Home or Faith Community, Spirit Prayer: Praying Through the Time of Pandemic and Social Unrest, and a third volume which is in progress. She also contributed to From Psalms to the Cloud, A Child Laughs, and Pitching Our Tents (all edited by Mankin and Tirabassi)
