“Preparing for the New year.  Discernment in Times of Change and Challenge”

What will 2020 be like for you?
A time of hope?  Challenge?  Change? Or?

Join Patience Schock and Steve Lawler on Saturday, January 11th from 8am to 12pm for this half-day retreat covering the practice of discernment – away forward for faithfully facing what lies ahead.

Based on classic Ignatian practices for discernment and enhanced through their work done with individuals and groups, Patience and Steve will provide background and practices for you to use as you engage your key changes and challenges in the year ahead.

Patience works with organizations and individuals to discern candidate selection and career paths.  Her clients include business and religious organizations, and their leaders.  She completed the Ignatian Exercises in 2011 and daily practices discernment principles.

Steve is the Director of the Walker leadership Institute at Eden Seminary.  an Episcopal priest and organizational psychologist, he has used the Ignatian Examen as a guide for work with coaching clients and business, nonprofit and religious organizations.

Cost: $50 for materials and snacks. Pay by check or cash on-site.
