Session Description:
What is abolition and what does it have to do with the gospel? What does the gospel demand of our organizing work?
You will understand the Defund the police movement, and the history of policing.
Practice imagining a new future of public safety with restorative practice.
Be able to ground your work and witness as a gospel imperative to honor the dignity and divinity of every living being without resorting to violence. Plug into movements for abolition around the country.
