Oglesby Endowed Scholarship

The Rev. Dr. Enoch H. Oglesby Endowed Scholarship fund was created in celebration of his ministry, teaching, and passion for ecumenism and ethics, and his vision for a multi-racial global society of peace and justice. Students have often found counsel and strength in Dr. Oglesby’s wisdom and deep commitment to the gospel of Jesus Christ to which he is called to preach and teach. In appreciation for Dr. Oglesby and his wife, Gloria, this scholarship fund was established and is awarded to students studying for the Master of Divinity degree at Eden, with preference and scholarship assistance given to African American students, and when possible, other deserving individuals of color as they work toward peace, justice and harmony in God’s global community.
