New Student Onboarding Information and To-Do:

New Student Orientation

First: mark your calendar for New Student Orientation,

Sunday, January 21, 2024, 5:00pm – 7:00pm (central time) -and-

Monday, January 22, 2024 , 9:00am – 7:00pm (central time)

New Student Orientation is mandatory for all entering students.  It’s also a crucial event to help you benefit from all the opportunities and services available to you.  At orientation you will meet your entering classmates, learn your way around Eden’s online systems and campus, and begin to navigate the school’s policies and degree programs.

If you live within driving distance of St. Louis, please plan to join us for orientation in person.  If you are staying overnight, we’d be happy to put you up in a (free) dorm room, or you can stay in a nearby hotel.  If you’d like to stay in the dorms, please indicate so in your RSVP.  For students who live more than a day’s drive away, orientation will also be available on Zoom.

Note: Spring students will also attend the Fall New Student Orientation, date to be announced.

Please RSVP to Orientation using the form below:

Contextual Education

For MDiv, MAPS, and MCL students only. Eden calls their field education program, Contextual Education as we hope that you’ll be able to learn about how ministry looks and operates in different contexts.

Spring students begin their Contextual Education Program in the Fall Semester.

Eden Bookstore

Eden has two bookstores, kind of confusing, we know!  Eden has a physical bookstore located on campus where course books, merchandise, and progressive Christian literature are available. Eden’s online bookstore is where we recommend students purchase their course materials; it’s online and Eden receives a small commission! Further questions? You can direct them toward the Theological Librarian/Archivist and Bookstore Manager, Scott Holl.
